Ingredients:
-
The BETZ Blackened Salmon Seasoning
-
1 pound Salmon (about 1/2 pound per person)
-
Olive oil
-
2 lemons

Directions:
-
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
-
Cut lemons into slices (2 or 3 slices for each 1/2 pound of salmon) and place these on the bottom of a casserole dish.
-
NOTE: Cut remaining lemon into wedges to garnish the dish when finished.
-
-
Cut salmon in half lengthwise.
-
Brush salmon lightly with olive oil.
-
Sprinkle blackened salmon seasoning on salmon and rub in.
-
NOTE: Coat heavily for added flavor.
-
This is the added benefit of having the seasoning in the bottle - you can adjust the amount of seasoning you use to be exactly what you and your family will love.
-
-
-
Place salmon on top of lemons in casserole dish.
-
Place dish in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until salmon pulls apart with a fork.

Recommended Side Dishes:
-
Tater Tots
-
Call us crazy, but pairing these two together was one of our most pleasant discoveries. The crispiness of the tots balances out the rich flavor of the salmon in a way that you won't know until you know.

Asparagus
-
We love to roast our asparagus in the oven. Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in the oven when your salmon has about 5-10 minutes left before it is finished. Top asparagus with parmesan cheese.
