The BETZ Pork Chops

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
-
The BETZ Pork Dry Rub
-
4 Pork Chops
-
Note: We usually use pork chops with a thickness of 1/2" inch, but thicker pork chops would work great for this too! Just be sure to cook them a little longer :)
-
-
1 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
-
5 TBSP butter/margarine

Directions:
-
In a medium to large saucepan, melt the butter and whisk in soy sauce.
-
Place the pork chops in a medium to large bowl, and pour about half of the soy/butter mixture over the pork chops.
-
Let this marinate for about 20-25 minutes.
-
Remove the pork chops and season with the BETZ pork dry rub.
-
Note: You all know the drill - season lightly for a more mild flavor and heavily for a bold flavor.
-
-
Once the grill reaches 425 degrees F, place pork chops on.
-
Here's the tricky part because every grill is different, BUT for a general idea - this is what we do:
-
3 minutes on 1 side then flip
-
Note: Take the remaining soy/butter mixture and brush pork chop EACH time you flip it to keep it from drying out.
-
-
3 minutes on the other side then flip again
-
Note: This helps to sear the pork chop and seal in that flavor.
-
-
2 minutes on this side then flip again
-
2 more minutes on the other side then pull them off
-
DISCLAIMER: Again, this is a general idea - never consume undercooked pork (i.e. NO pink with pork).
-
-
ENJOY with your favorite sides!
